Firas family to sue airlines and officials
Filed under NewsJul 14BEIRUT – Lebanese security sources categorically denied that there is a terrorist link to the incident of a stowaway on Saudi Nas Air flight and said investigations proved that Firas Haider, who hid in the planes wheel bay and was found dead when the plane landed in Riyadh, was suffering from mental illness.
A source said, “All the rumors circulated that Haider had martyrdom slogans and certain pictures in his pocket are untrue. These rumors are nothing but press fabrications in the wake of several similar incidents at Arab and international airports.”

Kingdom helped Lebanese crack down on terrorists
Filed under NewsMar 21BEIRUT – A Saudi security official has revealed that the Kingdom provided essential intelligence information to the Lebanese government “months” ago which helped it crack down on the Fatah Al-Islam militant group at the Nahr Albarid camp.
Fatah Al-Islam fought the Lebanese army at the Nahr Al Barid camp of Palestinian refugees in 2007. The clashes resulted in the death of more than 20 Saudis.
