NSHR discusses Humaidan Al-Turkis case with US team

RIYADH – The National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) has raised the issue of Saudi detainee Humaidan Al-Turki with a delegation of senior US Congressmen currently visiting the Kingdom.

In August 2006, a Colorado court handed down a verdict of 28 years imprisonment for Al-Turki for alleged forced labor and aggravated sexual harassment of his Indonesian housemaid.

Discussions held at the NSHR headquarters in Riyadh also addressed the unjust military and civilian trials some Muslims are subjected to in America.
