Prince Sultan visits disabled children center in Al-Jouf
Filed under NewsNov 30AL-JOUF: Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Society for Disabled Children and secretary general of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (GCTA), visited a disabled childrens center here yesterday (SAT).
The prince was accompanied by Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, undersecretary of the governorate, and Dr. Salman bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sudairy, GCTA adviser.
He was received on arrival by the centers manager, Mashail bint Owaisit Al-Juraid, and director of public relations, Ziyad Al-Juraid.
Prince Sultan toured the center, which includes an educational section, clinics and hostels, and was briefed about its activities.
The center conducts rehabilitation programs and provides over 100 outpatients and other resident disabled children from surrounding areas with curative and educational services. Prince Sultan presented gifts to the children at the end of his tour.
